I honestly didn’t expect to like these as much as I do. They’re super comfy and the high waist feels really supportive without being tight. I’ve worn them on heavy flow days and they did their job, no leaks and no stress. The material feels soft and breathable, not bulky at all, and they stay in place all day. Long Absorption Area
These bottoms have a long and wide absorptive area, so they should offer excellent coverage. They fit as expected and were comfortable to wear. The portion that isn’t absorptive is rather thin and somewhat see through. So, while they are high waisted, I wouldn’t expect the waist to actually offer much in the way of control. The care instructions are clear and I appreciate that they can be machine washed and dried.

I really loved these period underwear. They’re comfortable, soft, and the extra high waist gives a secure feeling all day. The absorbency is excellent, especially on heavy-flow days, and they truly prevent leaks. They also feel lightweight and pleasant to wear. Perfect for both day and night.

Now this is what period underwear should be! For years I’ve been using the ones from the brand that starts with a K but now I wish I’d had Chicloop sooner.The liquid capacity is similar to the Super Leakproof line of the other brand, but the absorbency seems better in that it soaks in faster and also feels more dry. The other brand tends to feel “clammy” after a certain amount of time and flow. Plus the absorbent core goes further up the back in the Chicloop (like the Zone line in the other brand) and that gives added protection. Additionally, the crotch (sorry, gross word) is wider in these and much more comfortable.These also have a superior fit. The K brand shifts a lot, has gapping when sitting or laying in certain positions, and can ride up, particularly if you move around a lot while sleeping, and that can cause leaks.The Chicloop have full butt coverage, no gapping at the legs/butt and are made of a fabric that is soft but not slippery.Also regarding fit, the listing is accurate in saying you should size down. I ordered my usual large and while they still fit way better than the K brand they could stand to be a little more snug at my waist (and I’m chubby).The only slightly negative comment I have is that I wouldn’t really consider these an “extra high waist” as described. They do sit higher than regular underwear though and are really comfortable even for a chubby girl like me. The waist height is a VERY minor thing given how awesome these are in every other way.I am ordering a few more 3 packs of Chicloop and replacing my other brand entirely!

I agree with many of the other reviewers. These period underwear are made of a comfortable bamboo material, that is soft and thick. The sizing looks giant when you open them, but it’s because they are full coverage plus high waisted. I found they still fit, but I definitely could have ordered a size down. Also, they are not flattering at all! So if you like still having attractive underwear during your period, these are not for you.I know others have said they wore the underwear alone, but I have heavy periods so I use them along with a menstruel cup. I find they work great for that purpose, but it was definitely tough getting used to mentally.They are obviously not as easy as using a pad if you are not at home because you can’t just change it out. I only use them if I know I am only out for a few hours, then I can change them at home. You could bring an extra pair with you if you had the option of changing them out in a private washroom. I just don’t have a way to carry around an extra pair of underwear.Overall, I am happy with the underwear, and it’s a definite deal to get 3 pairs for the price. If you need something to help with the overflow, then I recommend giving these a try.

These period underwear are such a game-changer in period care for women. For years, leaking had always been the number one concern during my mensuration (even on top of the pain) and I have had numerous embarrassment moments in my life. These strong absorbency leaf-proof underwear removed my worries away and made me feel much more secured now. I ordered these underwear in my usual size and they fitted me snuggly. They were extremely soft, smooth, breathable and slightly stretchy. The high waist and full hip coverage along with wide leg opening design were comfortable and did a good job of keeping my tummy warm and well supported. The built-in absorbent layer had a thoughtful design of having a higher front and wider back which covered the critical leakage areas during the heavy flow days. With the leak-proof protection from these underwear, I no longer needed to worry about leakage problem and could fully enjoyed my daily life (i.e. sleep, going out, doing any kind of activities or exercise with large movement). I highly recommended them !

These are great! They are high waisted (they go over my belly button) so they offer great coverage. They are quite thick, so you do feel them, but they are discreet and don’t look like diapers. I use them for heavy days and for sleeping. I did not experience any leaks. The material is soft and stretchy, quite comfortable. I followed the size chart and they fit well.

I use a menstrual cup during my period, but I also like to use a pad or period underwear as backup. So that is my plan for these underwear. They’re ad is very precise…they are super high waisted-with very full coverage. The padded portion goes all the way up the back, which is great for people using this alone without a cup. I don’t find the padding to be overly bulky-pretty much on par with my Knix pairs. They don’t dig in at the waistband which is a huge plus. I typically take an XL in underwear, so I went with the L as per the recommendation of sizing down. These will still work, but I do think I could have gone down to a M. These are not the sexiest panties, but they will get the job done! $24.99 is a decent price for a pack of 3, from what I have seen scouring the internet. So far, I am happy with these underwear.
