This e.l.f. liquid eyeliner really surprised me with its quality considering how affordable it is. The applicator is thin and precise, which makes it easy to create either fine lines or bold wings.The black color is very intense and dries quickly, so it doesn’t smudge or transfer onto the eyelid. For me, it lasted well throughout the day even in slightly humid conditions.I recommend it if you’re looking for a budget-friendly eyeliner that’s easy to apply and long-lasting. Perfect for both beginners and more experienced makeup users.

I’ve been using the e.l.f. Expert Liquid Liner for a few weeks now, and I’m seriously impressed. For the price, this liner performs just as well as some high-end brands I’ve tried. great eyeliner!! it lasts a long time (though i’d recommend using setting spray to make it last longer, of course). it is waterproof, and doesn’t smudge easily. i love it and would definitely buy again after it runs out.

My go to liner for over 10 years
I’m not exaggerating when I say I’ve been using this e.l.f. Expert Liquid Liner for at least eight years. It’s the only one I ever buy, and for good reason—you simply cannot beat this quality for the price. The fact that you can get a double pack for just $5 is an absolute steal. This eyeliner has been more consistent in my life than anyone I’ve ever dated.This liner is a staple in my makeup routine. It’s so easy to apply, and it’s perfect for creating my signature wings. Once it’s on, it stays on all day without smudging or fading. I could not count how many of these I’ve been through over the years. I always make sure to have at least three on hand at all times, just in case.I get so many compliments on my eye makeup, which is always a winged liner and lashes, and I always tell everyone my secret is this liner. Affordable!
It’s a good eyeliner if you are looking for affordable however it’s not the best color payoff. It has great payoff if you are looking for amount of eyeliner which it holds. Dries quickly enough but not lightning fast. Pretty smooth glide and lasts long on outer eyes (not so much near inner corner).

Have been using Elf liquid eyeliner for some time now (found this dark grey on Amazon as stores only seem to stock the black now) it has a fine applicator brush goes on easily & lasts well; also easy to remove with make-up remover products. Easily as good as many of the more expensive brands.

Good for the money but may cause irritation
The quality and color is good for the wonderfully low price, but I do find that it fades through the day if I’m not careful to make the full line even and thick. If I do, it lasts the full day and potentially into the evening without fading, for the most part.I give a lower rating because this eyeliner causes irritation for me like no other product has. It’s rare that a product bothers my eyes, but this one definitely caused redness and irritation for me. Even Lumify and allergy eye drops didn’t help me out on this one, though it’s not like I’m out much money, on the bright side.Overall, if it didn’t bother my eyes so much, the price and quality would be enough to keep ordering, but clearly my eyes don’t like something in it.
