Perfect primer for large pores
Great primer!! I bought this face primer to help conceal the pores on my nose and this product worked really well. It went on easily, using just my fingers and I applied to a clean, moisturized face. The primer was smooth and did a good job serving as a base for my makeup. My face felt silky and my makeup went on flawlessly.

Good product but still has 1 flaw
Feels great. It does blur some fine lines and pores. So it does what it’s meant to do. Only qualm that I have is the smell. I don’t know if it’s only my product or others, but it smells exactly like chemically, like pinesol. Scent softens but it’s lingers. Not something you want to smell when applying on the face.

Light and effective
Light weight, has a minty smell. Smooth and silky finish and makeup application is easy. I haven’t used a primer like this before so I was pleasantly surprised because the large pores are so much smaller and it doesn’t take a lot of product

Small Price for a Great Product
I love this stuff! I have “mature” skin and have not been happy with the way my pores look under makeup. I saw this product and thought I would give it a try. It’s less than $10! I really assumed that I wouldn’t like it, but I was definitely wrong! This makeup primer goes on so smoothly. My skin feels very soft and the pores are much less noticeable. If I had to offer one negative comment about the product it is that it does have a bit of a smell that I don’t care for. But that goes away soon after applying this product. I’m currently on my third bottle. I’ve had such great experience with this product, that i’m currently searching e.l.f. for other products that I might like.

Doesn’t really hold makeup well
This is a nice primer, I do like the silky feeling of applying it and it does soften my face but I don’t feel like it very holds my makeup well. I probrably would not buy it again and just stick with the grip primer.

I love this primer! It applies so well and makes your skin so smooth for an easy make up application. That is super important to me when I’m getting ready for work in the morning. It smells like tea tree oil which I really like. I personally think this primer is just as good as Hourglass veil mineral primer, except that Hourglass has SPF in it and this one doesn’t. I almost like this one from Elf even better because of how nicely it applies and it does an excellent job keeping my make up looking fresh all day long. I usually blot and touch up my powder just once at lunchtime, which is totally fine by me. For the price, you really can’t go wrong with this primer xoxo
