I was reading reviews after I already bought it and it was shipped. Someone said this was smaller than the typical Gua sha- which I was looking forward to since I have smaller hands than normal. Well I am happy to report that this Gua sha is the same size as the typical Gua sha and the same thickness. I’m so very grateful for a quality piece because the last one I bought off a different site was so small and super thin it scraped my skin in not a good way and was hard to grasp- even with my smaller hands.This one glides like it’s supposed to. And obsidian clears negative energies as well- it also came in a gift box double the size of the Gua sha that it sits securely in with a velvet bag given for safe keeping. I am satisfied and impressed- especially for the price! I have paid more and got way less in comparison and quality.I’m glad this was shipped immediately otherwise- based off the negative reviews, I would’ve canceled it and bought one that advertised all these qualities and costed more- then probably would’ve been disappointed.This is everything you hope it’s going to be and then some! It’s definitely worth it and while the price is right- stock up for stocking stuffers for Christmas! Or to put in gift bags at your next get together. It’s a lovely gift! 🎁 It also has written directions and a photo for a guide on how to use it.

Effective tool, but the black finish stains easily
I use a gua sha tool every day and find it very helpful as part of my skincare routine. This one works well functionally and does what it’s supposed to do. However, the black material shows product staining over time, which makes it look worn. I would likely choose a different material next time, but the tool itself is effective.

Check the dimensions closely. If you’re looking for a regular sized Gua Sha, this is not the one and can be deceptive since none of the photos show it’s size compared to something else or show it being used aside from the cartoon – which is not true to size.
