Powerful, Fast, and Surprisingly Quiet
This hair dryer is impressively powerful for its compact size. It dries my hair much faster than my old dryer, and the ionic feature really helps reduce frizz and leave my hair smooth. I also love how quiet it is compared to other high speed dryers. The magnetic diffuser snaps on easily and works great for different hair types. Sleek design and excellent performance.

Very Nice Hair Dryer
Very sleek and light. Heavy duty cord. Multiple temperature settings with colored lights, showing blue for cold, with yellow and green in between. Hottest setting is red. It also has a self clean feature. If you read the manual, it tells you how to do it, so that it blows the dust out and also has a removable filter screen. You just turn to loosen and carefully clean out the filter area. The hair dryer has strong wind power and dries hair fast. I use the tip for target drying, which attaches by a magnet. I’m very pleased with it. My one single complaint, you have to be careful when holding it, so you don’t block the filter and you don’t hit the temp button. I changed the temperature button by mistake just holding it. Maybe the buttons should have been in a different area. Once you’re aware, it’s OK. I just hope it lasts as long as most hair dryers. Fingers crossed.

I didn’t need a new dryer. My old one worked fine except my graying hair was getting drier and more flyaway. I decided to upgrade and this one was on many recommended lists without the huge price tag of Shark or Dyson. the dryer is very lightweight and has four heat levels, cool to hot. The dryer also cycles within each level. My hair dries fairly quickly with this dryer, but it is not superfast by any means. My hair texture after drying looks better than the old dryer, but it is not a miraculous improvement. Two small things: the on/off button has a slight lag before clicking on, and the on/off button is above the temperature choice button. These are two very minor things I still haven’t gotten used to. I would recommend this dryer if you value weight and speed and don’t want a harsh hairdry.

This is a fairly decent blow/hair dryer that appears to be well-constructed with surprisingly great performance; however, the handle is just a tad bit longer than I’d like it to be (to fit into one of my existing carrying/storage bags) so that’s a bit of a bummer. It’s also slightly heavier than expected although (again) it’s by no means heavy and it’s certainly not a deal breaker by any stretch of imagination. Worst yet, it does NOT have cold shot button/feature which is shockingly disappointing.Its power and wind speed are comparable to many others with very similar design and style that I’ve come across and it has the usual and typical settings of 3 heat levels (well, 5 levels if you count the cool (first level) temp and the 5th one which is a combination of hot/cool at 2 sec interval) and 2 wind speeds. In addition, it also has a cleaning mode that most others don’t have and that’s just the motor running in reverse for about 8 seconds.≡ Build qualityThe physical build quality of this blow dryer is fairly decent and it’s definitely sleeker and more aesthetically pleasing than most ordinary blow dryers with [much] longer barrel. I do like and very much appreciate the relatively shorter barrel although the handle is slightly longer than anticipated but it’s not necessarily longer than most others but it is longer than at least one that I have and I was hoping they’d be at least the same length.≡ AttachmentsIn addition, it comes with 2x magnetic attachments; one concentrator and one diffuser. Although these are quite common amongst all blow dryers, the magnetic aspect of ’em isn’t something that most others have and I think all blow dryers should have magnetic attachments at this point in time. I mean, it’s not technologically difficult by any means and it makes everything that much easier in my mind.What sets this different from many others is the fact it also comes with a magnetic adhesive wall mount. It can be mounted onto any surface with the double-sided adhesives provided (2 pieces) although you can use your own if you wish since they aren’t of the best quality in my mind.≡ FeaturesIt has a single slide button at the back of the handle near the top for adjusting the speed (and to turn it off), which I prefer over the push-and-hold button (that’s just tedious to use). Directly below it is the temperature control push-button. A single press of the button will cycle through all 5 temp levels; cool, low/med/high heat, and finally a combination/cycling of hot/cool (~ 2 sec interval).This is one of the few that I’ve come across that have this automatic hot/cool mode which essentially cycles through hot and cool at 2 second interval, which I’ve found to be quite convenient and useful at times. Btw, the cool/hot cycle mode can also be activated anytime by long pressing the temp button.The back of the barrel also changes color according to the temperature selected which I do appreciate although it’s not really that practical or even useful simply because the light is DIM and not exactly easy to see unless you are in a dark room but it’s nonetheless there should you need it.✘ Unfortunately, it does NOT have one of the MOST common features and that’s of course the cool shot button, which is very disappointing to say the least. I mean, why doesn’t have such basic and useful feature? The lack of a cool shot button/feature REALLY puts a damper on its overall usability and versatility in my mind.Similar to just about all others with similar design and style, the dust cap at the tail (pic 8) can be removed (twist and pull) so the interior can be [vacuum] cleaned when the time comes.≡ PerformanceAt its maximum speed, it’s noticeably more powerful than most other blow/hair dryers that I’ve come across recently, and that’s no small feat btw. It’s also amongst some of the slimmest one with respect to its performance in conjunction with the size of the barrel and the handle, which I do appreciate. In terms of its overall performance, it’s actually pretty good and delivers what it claims to have, and it’s certainly amongst some of the best performers that I’ve come across.With that being said, it is slightly louder than some others and it’s certainly NOT quiet, far from it, and I don’t expect it to be quiet given its claim about having 130K RPM so if you are looking for one then this is NOT the one you want. There is nothing (or at least VERY few) on the market today that’s both powerful (that really BLOWS air) and quiet; it’s a physics problem that we haven’t been able to solve yet.✘ Btw, although this blow dryer doesn’t necessarily have a safety certification that I could verify, it does have a portable GFCI plug and it is indeed UL certified (E488714); however, it’d MUCH better if the blow dryer itself has at least one safety certifications (i.e. ETL/UL/CSA). I should also mention that while this is rated for 1300W (on the unit self and in the manual), it actually states 1100W on the box it comes with and the box apparently also has the incorrect model number (C-919) vs. the correct one which is C-950 that’s on the dryer itself. Suffice to say, all of these discrepancies do NOT inspire confidence and I have the feeling that this (and perhaps many others like it) are being sold under many brands/models with minor tweaks/changes to the blow dryer itself.≡ ValueAll things considered, this is a fairly decent blow/hair dryer that’s well-constructed and for the most part works as expected with great performance overall; unfortunately, it does NOT have a cold shot button/feature and that’s the biggest downside of this blow dryer. It’s not the most compact out there but it does have a relatively short barrel and the overall size/dimension is still amongst some of the smallest ones out there when taking into account its performance and features. It’s reasonably priced at $60 for what it provides and its overall build quality, features, versatility, and performance.
