Best foundation ever!
This has become my HG foundation! I use this formula in the winter, and the Matte one in summer. I have tried every kind of foundation over the years ( literally more than 100), and this is hands down my favorite. I expect a LOT from my foundation-I have temperamental skin-reactive, sensitive, acne-prone, and now aging on top of that!? …This foundation goes on smooth, covers everything, feels like nothing, and lasts all day. Do I wish it had SPF in it? Yes. Do I wish the light shades (I wear 2.15) were less peachy, and more yellow? Yes. But, still the best foundation, and I will continue to purchase.

Medium buildable coverage
I will say that this looks nice and natural on well prepped and hydrated skin. Otherwise this will cling to every dry skin flake and exaggerate texture, pores and dryness. It will also break away on overly prepped or oily skin, so I do have to be careful on when I use this. I basically only reach for this on days that my skin is already looking it’s best and is well hydrated. If I try this to use this to cover up anything it will just cling to each flake, or make a ring around a blemish. It is smooth and thick, and has a medium to high buildable coverage, although some spots I can still see coming through the foundation. It has a typical “foundation scent” which I personally I don’t mind, but isn’t my favorite and the finish settles more matte and can be a bit drying, even on my more oily skin. The primer is alright, it does blur and feel velvety. Mine came separated on arrival but after vigorously shaking it, the texture is much better. I think this could be pretty on some people but personally not my favorite foundation, color match is nice, though I wish they were more inclusive in the shade range with darker complexions and more undertones.

Velvety feel, beautiful color, and good coverage
I loooove this foundation! It feels so velvety smooth and it’s a beautiful color for me. I like to use only about 2 pea-size squeezes and it provides good medium coverage. I just rub it in with my fingers and it blends all over beautifully. With more, and a sponge/brush, I’m sure you could get even more full coverage. It has the scent of a sweet dessert cocktail instead of a powdery or makeup smell. I also adore the little Re-fine primer that comes with it. It’s slightly tinted, rubs in well, and has thst great matte talc feel that makes your skin feel so soft. Amazing Full Coverage Foundation
Growing up on a beach and not properly protecting my skin with spf, I’ve accumulated severe sun damage and hyperpigmentation. I don’t always wear full coverage foundation but when I do – I want one that efficiently covers all my dark spots. I absolutely LOVE this Haley’s Re-set foundation. This is TRULY a full coverage foundation.I’m already a fan of Haley’s. I’m Japanese American and this company is run by a team of Asian-American women. I love their Eyeshadow Essentials Brush Set. I ordered this Re-form Luminous Skin Foundationin shades 3.25 (light med neutral) and 4.25 (med neutral). The 3.25 was the better fit, although just a tinge dark, and what I’m wearing in my images. You do NOT need a lot – a little goes a LONG way. You also need to blend quickly as this dries down fast (like most mattes). I typically use my fingers but I grabbed my trusty BK beauty 101 foundation brush and it worked wonderfully.This has a thicker feel to it, almost like a serum, but still a liquid not a cream. I found I preferred using this without the Haley’s primer. However it’s an excellent product which I ended up using as an eyeshadow primer. At 60 yrs old, I need a primer that’s more moisturizing. I really like Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch, which I purchased from here on Amazon ($42).For reference other shades I use are NARS Light Reflecting in Santa Fe, Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion in Honey, Danessa Myricks Cream Cover in 4.25 and Wet n Wild Photo Focus in Classic Beige. I received this through Amazon Vine at a reduced price in exchange for my review, but feel the full price of approx $30 is fair. I’m actually buying on my own, the shade 2.5 (light medium warm) or 2.25 (light warm). At the time of this review there’s an additional 10% off coupon and you can’t beat Amazon Prime shipping.In #1 image I’m only wearing two products: Wonderskin lip stain in neon rose and my new fav mascara – Maybelline The Colossal Bubble in waterproof black. In #2, I added the foundation and #3 is with a full face of makeup. This lasted well for 7hrs until I removed it for bedtime. Minimal creasing if any. It’s also extremely hot/humid here in south Fl. While running errands I did sweat quite a bit (ok, a lot). A small amount of the foundation came off when I dabbed my face lightly with a towel, but it still looked remarkable.Definitely recommend this foundation as well as the brand – Haley’s has a store here on Amazon. In addition to the foundation I’m also buying one of the concealers. I’ll use that for days I wear a skin tint or a light-medium coverage foundation.

Clumpy, highlights pores
It’s taken me a while to write this review because I really wanted this to work out. I tried it in various ways. With and without primer, applied with different tools, powder or no powder on top, with and without finishing spray, so forth. And the results are similar. This foundation clings to my pores, and makes me look greasy while also drying out my skin. Not sure how that’s possible, but it is.It seems like it should be a lightweight foundation, but I guess since it sits conspicuously on top of my skin, it doesn’t really feel that way. The consistency is a bit odd, it tends to separate in the tube, but if you shake it a bit, it can be smooth. It has no longevity on me since it tends to clump.And then the shade I got 3.25 seemed like it was an ideal choice. It says it’s for neutral skin. But it’s so peach/orange! I guess it might as well be, since the formula didn’t work out for me.
