WOW. JUST WOW. 4.5 out of 5; minus a little for no color/shade samples
I’m almost 60/F, some wrinkles and a fair amount of discoloration, red spots, and sun damage, esp. on cheeks.This foundation (baked balance and brighten, color FAIR) is really easy to use. Feels like nothing, even when building. I used only basic, soft, fluffy brushes I had on hand; they worked well for light coverage, but I do think a denser brush option – like a retracting kabuki, as recommended – might work better for building.Very good coverage on bare skin (moisturizar only), pracrically perfect over an inexpensive primer. Almost all my flaws disappeared, even without concealer.Did not settle in wrinkles, either. I FEEL PRET-TY, OH-SO PRET-TY!…or, at least, “not bad for an old broad, not at all!”.I do find that using primer is better over large pores and significant discoloration, such as have I. I used a budget brand with spf 30 and the foundation went on perfectly.It’s FAST, too. The longest part if the process is waiting for the primer to dry, maybe 1-3 minutes.Found it difficult to shade match – but to be fair: When is it *not* difficult?Would be a very nice thing if Laura Geller Beauty offered an inexpensive “sampler” (say, $5.00 for just enough product for 1/2 face in two adjacent shades) to help in this process.I tried “PORCELAIN” first, but it was just a tad too light. The model wearing “FAIR” looks like an olive tone to me, whereas (I think?) I’m more peachy, like the “LIGHT” model – but I’m super pale…but … but.. hem ..haw..Seems really wasteful to open, use once and return a full product to try a color that isn’t quite right, as I have. “Samplers” would really help reduce the volume of product returns, not to mention reduce waste and carbon footprints – just sayin’.Step up,😀Laura Geller. Quick, Natural Coverage for Busy Days
This is my go-to when I’m in a hurry. I don’t wear a lot of makeup, but this gives just enough coverage to even things out while still looking natural.It’s sheer, not thick or heavy, and very easy to apply. The value is also great compared to other powders and foundations—simple, effective, and perfect for everyday use.

Worth the Splurge if on sale
I got the Fair and was not sure if it would work because I have a neutral skin tone that gets pale in winter and tans in summer. I got it specifically due to cheapest price point. I consider this makeup high end for my meager budget and would never pay full price. However something told me to go ahead. I don’t regret the purchase at all. I’m 50 with slight signs of an aging face, few wrinkles, a little redness sometimes, hormonal acne, once in a rare while. It went on darker than anticipated and later self adjusted in about 15-20 minutes. It evens out skin and gives a soft focus diffused look. Very quick to apply and stays put. Plus it feels like I have nothing on my skin, no makeup feel at all. I would definitely recommend especially at the current sale price. Give it a try because it definitely looks like this lady has some good makeup. It would be lovely to be able to afford to try more of this line. Just like good skincare at any age, a good makeup line is definitely a nice up level. This one is definitely worth it!

Best foundation aside from the value
I applied this color-correcting foundation with a brush as instructed, and the application was easy and smooth. I got light which is light-medium and it was the perfect match. It worked great at reducing the darkness under my eyes and also covered my sun spots well. Excellent value for the price and performs exactly as expected. Unlike other brands that come flat, this one arrives bubbled up, so you actually get more product with Laura Geller.

I’m 51 and have melasma. I do have fine lines under my eyes. I have always loved makeup, but I’ve gotten to a point in my life where I don’t want to put everything on (primer, concealer, foundation, powder, etc), everyday.I used to use BareMinerals for years, but went back to the full-face “everything” look.I was going to buy the BareMinerals again but fell into the social media hype and decided to try this.I cannot stand a brand that makes you guess what color match you are. Went to her website and the test was not as helpful as I wanted it to be. Decided to try the medium, though not sure if Golden medium would have worked too (looked too dark).I’m not going to say this isn’t a good product, but I am going to say the coverage is very minimal compared to BareMinerals mineral veil powder. In watching videos, it looked buildable on others, but was not on me.I tried it with spf moisturizer then tried it with spf moisturizer and primer. I honestly just washed it off and went to with no makeup that day.I did get one of her brushes too, and the issue with application could be because I chose the angled brush, rather than the one that adjusts.I’m going to keep it and see if that is that case but I’m going back to a product I trust and know works with my skin- BareMineralsTried it again today. The application of it has a lot to do with the proper brush. It applied like BareMinerals mineral veil. Looks really good actually. Very natural. So I will now change my 2-stars to 5.

My wife bought this and she loves it. she has fair skin and the color is perfect and covers what she wants covered. she says it can feel a bit dry when first applied but lasts all day without setteling in to fine lines
