This ceramic hair straightener works really well, especially if you’re a beginner. It heats up quickly and the settings are easy to figure out. The double‑layer ceramic design feels gentle on fine or soft hair, and it smooths frizz pretty easily. For thicker hair types, it might take a few extra passes since the heat isn’t very strong and the plates are small. But considering the good price, I wouldn’t expect much more. A nice affordable option that gets the job done.

I have long, slightly wavey hair. I straighten it to keep down the frizz. This straightener exceeded my expectations! It is super easy to use. It heats quickly and has different levels to choose from. The button is inside of the clamps! I really like this feature because I always accidentally press the button on other straighteners when they are on the outside. It worked well for straightening my hair and getting rid of frizz. I am amazed by the quality of this item and think it is a great value for the money! The design is also very sleek and modern.

I will begin with my hair type – very fine, thin hair that is kind of wavy/frizzy (but honestly more frizzy than anything else).This straightener worked fine for smoothing out my hair. It heated up relatively quickly, worked well even at low/medium heat. I didn’t think it worked any better than the one I currently have (but it wasn’t any worse).Two things I love:1) The power/temperature switch is inside so you can’t accidentally change the setting. I have a wand that I curl my hair with and the temperature switch is on the outside like most and I am constantly accidentally changing the temperature. That drives me crazy. This one you have to reach inside and press the gold button so temperature stays where you set it2) Every part of the exterior stays cool. The wand, the tip, EVERYTHING. I feel very safe using this.

Not suitable for thicker, coarser hair. Does not get hot enough. Several passes needed.
I was not too pleased with this flat iron. I have very thick, frizzy/curly hair and typically use my flat irons at 450 degrees. This flat iron supposedly heats to 446 degrees which seemed perfect for my needs. Unfortunately, it was not. This iron did not seem to get hot enough for my hair. Testing this iron on a small piece of hair rendered less than satisfactory results. Several passes were needed to get the curl out of my hair, which is damaging and not recommended, and it still did not come out as pin straight as with my old flat iron. On the plus side, the iron itself is very lightweight and comfortable in the hands. The outside of the iron doesn’t get hot which is nice so no glove is needed while in use. I think this iron would be best for those with thinner, less course hair. For anyone with thicker, coarser hair, this iron just doesn’t do the trick. Unfortunately for me, this one gets a pass.

Really Good Straightener!
This Straightener works fantastic! It does what it says it does and I could tell such a difference compared to my old Straightener! I like that it has automatic shut off so I never have to worry if I left it plugged in or unplugged it before leaving my house!I also like this Comb that is included, it works so good at smoothing out each section before placing it in the Straightener!This is a great deal too, really good quality, I definitely recommend it!

Needs a little more heat
This straightener is good, but needs more heat to be great. I think it would do well if your hair is on the thinner side, but if you have thick hair, it may struggle like it did with me. I tend to run my old one on the highest setting to get my hair to straighten out. I do like the size and the fact that it doesn’t snag hair like other models. It’s pretty light weight and easy to handle. A little more heat would have made this straightener an easy five stars.
