This New Road Beauty Paraffin Wax Kit for Hands and Feet heats evenly and makes my hands and feet so soft and smooth.So paraffin wax baths are wonderful as a beauty treatment and they also provide a huge amount of relief for arthritic joints. The way they work is that you melt a special paraffin wax in this bath, then dip your clean and dry hands or feet into the warm wax repeatedly until you get a thick coat of wax. Then put on plastic gloves or booties and let the wax sit until it cools. Then peel the wax off and you’re done. You will be amazed at how soft and smooth and moisturized your hands and feet feel!This wax bath, in particular, is very nice. It comes with a bunch of plastic, disposable, gloves, 2 hand mitts and 2 booties (for additional warmth retention), 4 one pound blocks of paraffin wax, a heat protection tray, and a user guide. The outside is smooth, black, plastic but then you plug it in, the touch sensitive control panel appears on the front. I like this better than physical buttons because wax drips WILL happen.I used all 4 blocks of wax and you really need to to get it deep enough to easily dip your hands and feet. The wax has a lovely, lavender, scent and it is super moisturizing. You can just leave the remainder of the wax in the wax bath for use again but you cannot reuse the wax that peels off your hands and feet. It contains skin oils and dead skin flakes and would be a health hazard to reuse that wax. You can purchase wax refills here on Amazon.I have arthritis in my hands and wax treatments are really soothing. They reduce my pain immediately and the effects are long lasting. Plus, I have aging skin and wax treatments make your hands look younger! This would make a lovely gift for anyone with arthritis in their hands, for sure.

I’ve been a single mom for several years, and I have been investing in myself since I came last most of my life and I’m not doing it anymore. This is a pretty big heater for melted wax. I received several big logs of lavender scented wax, a large amount of plastic gloves, hand and foot mits/booties, and the rest of the equipment including directions. You said it on high to heat it up then you put the tray in as they give you a warning not to use it without the tray liner, and then you turn the heat down to your liking. My 7-year-old and I both did it. I do have to say I would prefer to use this outside because it’s really easy to make a terrible mess which I did. Just dipping our hands in especially dealing with a child It can be difficult not to make a mess. Then at one point I didn’t have the plastic cover on well and it fell inside and splattered all over the bathroom. Lol. You dip them a few times so you have several layers and then when they are completely dry around 10 minutes you can pull the wax off. We’ve been only using this for our hands because I don’t want to make a big mess dealing with the feet, but our hands feel so soft after it really does work. Even though it’s a time consuming process it’s just a nice pampering thing that is worth it. The only thing I noticed was the lavender sort of has a scent of moth balls mixed with lavender but I’m pretty sensitive to smells. Overall, this is nice and it actually will last a very long time. They say to not reuse the wax you use but I honestly wouldn’t have a problem with it especially with my hands.

Paraffin wax is the best heat therapy around
You would be amazed at how many uses there are for paraffin wax, besides spa treatments. It’s a great tool to use for deep heat therapy to relax sore muscles and help ease pain. The heat increases blood flow and circulation to the area, which increases the amount of oxygen going to the area and relieves some of the pain. It’s also great at helping with skin inflammation and healing cracked skin. I don’t know what I’d do without my paraffin wax machine. My feet are always dry and peeling, especially in the winter. Using paraffin wax is the only thing that helps me keep it in check. It also worked wonders when my son injured his thumb playing lacrosse. His physical therapist is the one that recommended it. I’m impressed with the performance of this machine. Over the last 6 months, I’ve tried 3 different machines, all from different brands, and this is by far the best model. The opening is a larger size and can accomodate my son’s size 14 foot. It does a great job of getting to and maintaining a consistent temperature with the smart temperature control. All you do to use it is to put your blocks of paraffin wax in the pot, turn on the unit, adjust your temperature and wait for it to melt. You can adjust the temperature between 86 and 158 degrees Fahrenheit. There’s also a timer that you can set between 1 and 99 minutes. Besides the warmer, the set comes with four 1 pound bars of lavender scented paraffin wax, a pair of paraffin wax gloves and booties, and 100 disposable gloves. I love my machine and use it at least 3 days a week. I’d HIGHLY recommend this warmer. You can’t go wrong!

Wonderful way to treat yourself to a bit of spa at home anytime you want
This is a good wax bath. I have used them in the past and really like this one.It is so easy to use this one. Has a temp control that you can set it to or set a timer on it.Does come with an instruction booklet but even without it is simple enough to figure it out.Now this one comes with wax blocks but I can’t use because the scent of lavender really bothers my allergies. I have been using some unscented paraffin that I already had on hand.Works just fine with this unit.I like to use this on my one hand because it helps with the pain I have been dealing with.This kit also comes with gloves for your hands and feet to help hold in the heat for longer therapy.Skin is so amazingly smooth and soft once you remove the wax after done.Such a nice way to treat yourself to a bit of a spa time at home anytime you would like.
