Therapeutic Warm Wax Treatment at Home
This is an excellent paraffin heater starter set designed for home use that has most everything needed to start warmed wax treatments, including enough wax to fill the reservoir to the minimum line. It’s build quality is sturdy. The outer shell is PP plastic and the wax sits inside an aluminum basin where it’s carefully heated. It’s useful for moisturizing or therapeutic treatments. What I especially like is the intuitive and simple approach to the touch screen control panel arrangement with its large LED readout. The size is considered to have a large capacity, 3500ml, holding 4-8 packs of average sized wax, however, it can’t accommodate dipping both hands at one time, and it fits one foot at a time. More about that below and how it relates to the amount of wax needed for a single mani-pedi session. This model is attractively designed, has a large footprint and though I would prefer a white or pink model. Black was available for immediate shipment and has a very Kawaii-cute lilac colored cord! Overall, it provides a wonderful treatment that will be better with an improved paraffin formula. The unit itself works very well.Pros• The heater has the expected features to ensure the paraffin is heated adequately yet to be a safe temperature, such as its precise temperature control button, timers and the very useful keep warm function. Heating time varies depending on the quantity of wax, with 30 minutes being for 2 pounds of wax.• The 4 mitts are luxuriously thick and provide a cozy, warm encasement for feet and hands after dipping. They have drawstring pulls that lock to keep them closed while worn.• Plenty of disposable PE (polyethylene) hand and feet covers are included, 100 each, for 50 treatments. This helps to keep the paraffin sanitary, eliminating wasted wax. After a treatment, just remove the mitts, then the plastic covers & the paraffin wax can be peeled off the skin returned to the heater basin for reuse until it’s no longer sanitary. Around 25 uses is expected before a new paraffin supply is necessary.• I like the silicone spatula but found the paraffin coated my skin well without using it or the brush. The two accessories might be handy for treating another part of the body that can’t be dipped into the warmer. Including them is a thoughtful addition.• The insulating platform (grate) is very nice & elevates body parts well above the heated aluminum surface to keep skin safe. The aluminum is textured & the two parts seem to grip one another.• The heater’s literature is thorough, giving illustrated, detailed information like a quick-start guide (on the outer box,) complete setup, how-to for the controls, treatment steps, tips, maintenance, FAQ’s and product specs.Cons• The ad & owners manual say ‘enough space to dip your hands, elbows or feet in paraffin warmer machine.’ In my opinion, the statement isn’t entirely accurate in the use of plural nouns. Two hands might fit depending on the person and if the wax is filled to the maximum line, but it was my experience this 3.5L model doesn’t fit two ladies feet sized 9M/40EU. Looking at the images inside the user guide, they show one hand or one foot being dipped at one time.• The wax is ok, but barely therapeutic. Sadly, there’s no ingredient labeling to know what’s inside the wax other than the use of either the word ‘scented’ or ‘aromatherapy.’ It’s supposed to smell like lavender, I think, but the scent is rather ambiguous. I don’t plan on ordering refills, and instead, will be making a DIY blend with cosmetic grade paraffin and several essential oils extracts, lanolin and K-skincare essentials like hyaluronic acid, ginseng & collagen.• The capacity might be small depending on the user. It takes several ‘dunks’ (5-6 times) per the user guide, but professionals might do more, as many as 10-12 dips, depending on the type of treatment. Even filled to maximum, it takes a lot of wax for both hands and feet to be coated, even once. Roughly, about 4 or more pounds. The six packs included, for reference, fills the unit to the minimum line, and is about 1,597g/3.52lbs. Inside the user guide it says a hand or elbow treatment needs 800g/1.76lbs, and for feet, 1000g/2.2lbs. For my purposes, this unit needs much more wax than 6 bags for therapeutic treatments because I want to experience the treatment with both feet & hands coated at the same time after being dipped around 5 times each, which is 20 coats of wax. Though I didn’t have enough wax on hand to fill the warmer to the maximum line, I estimate it might take about 8 packs, or, +/- 2,720g/4.6lbs.• Longer therapy sessions require a separate purchase of electrically heated foot & hand mitts. Including those instead of the fabric version would have been ideal.• Unclear product warranty and what it entails. The box says 1 year but the owner’s guide lists 2. An email address is listed in the user guide for inquiries.Seller KXOPALYSS, model WAX-2500. Made in China by Vevor. Model D0100X32H9J. 200 watts. US plug type. User driven Fahrenheit/Centigrade display. Footprint: 30cm/11.8”Wx25cm/9.84Dx15cm/5.9”H. The user guide states it is dual 110/220 voltage. Certifications: CE (European Union, compliance with health, safety & environmental requirements) & RoHS (restricts hazardous substances in electronics sold in the EU;) GB/09001-2022/ISO9001:2023 (meets international standards for quality management and adherence to regulatory requirements in Britain.) Packaging symbols are present representing double insulation construction, the packaging might be recyclable, EAC (Eurasian Conformity, ensures it meets safety & technical requirements of the Eurasian Customs Union, and the last symbol indicates the product is made from a plastic categorized as ‘other,’ and isn’t recyclable. North American electrical or other safety certifications are not provided.I recommend this product to shopper’s looking for the comfort of a home luxury spa treatment or therapeutic purposes. Cost effectiveness is questionable due to the price point for the machine as well as ongoing costs for expensive consumables. The only comparison I have is a full hand & foot salon treatment that runs as low as $25 upwards to $50-100, depending on the exact services and region. After some use, I’ll be better informed about the operating expenses and value for this unit. From what I can tell, it should be very easy to maintain by a simple cleaning procedure when changing the wax.Though the product was provided under Amazon’s Vine program, I used the item as I would any purchase, and wrote an unbiased, honest review based on my experience.

Amazing!!
As someone who recently is getting more and more into at home self care, I do my nails often and in the winter I can definitely feel my hands getting dry. I also am on my feet a lot from just generally walking a lot, standing for long periods of time and getting to and from places. This kit was my first time trying Paraffin wax and it definitely didn’t disappoint.Pros:You get a complete kit with everything you need to get started and much of it can be used again over time. You get a spatula to stir the wax, enough wax bags to fill to the minimum line, tons of plastic hand and feet coverings and then warmers for your hands and feet. The instructions are pretty short and clear. You can heat up to 167 degrees to melt the wax, and then persistently stay around 131 or less when you’re using it.Once you’re done you do have some residue but the lavendar wax felt and smelled nice and left my skin feeling soft and pampered.Cons:You only get enough wax to fill the minimum line and in terms of replacing it so you can use with other people (to be sanitary everyone needs their own wax) I wasn’t quite sure how much to purchase.I do wish it was easier to use the on/off button and that there would be sounds when you press them but overall it’s not a huge issue.I couldn’t submerge the tops of my feet with the minimum fill line so I’ll need to try more wax. This felt really luxurious and was easy to use. I recommend for yourself or to use as a gift for anyone who needs a little TLC and some self care or are prone to join paint, tired feet or hands, or those into at home DIY self care. It was really relaxing.

Works well, but the cord is way too short
I I bought this paraffin wax machine because I thought my old one only fit a hand. Turns out my old white machine actually fits my whole foot just fine, so I didn’t really need a new one, but since I have it, here’s how they compare. This new machine heats quickly and the digital screen is easy to use. I like setting an exact temperature and using the timer. It melts the wax in about 20 to 30 minutes and holds the heat well. The tub is wide but not very deep. Because of that, I had to use all four wax packs to fully cover my foot. With only three packs, the top of my foot did not get coated well. My old “T” brand machine is deeper, so it feels roomier when dipping. For me, the lavender wax felt very moisturizing but also very greasy. When I took it off, my hands got just as slippery as my feet, and everything I touched after felt oily. I had to wipe my hands and put socks on right away. One thing I really wasn’t prepared for is how slippery the residue is if any of the paraffin water drips on the floor. I had a small spill, and even after using Dawn Powerwash and rubbing alcohol, it took multiple cleanings to get rid of the slick film. It was honestly dangerous. I strongly recommend putting towels or a mat down before using this so no one slips. The biggest difference is the feel of the machine itself. This one feels lighter. Not bad, just more like a home gadget. My old “T” brand one feels heavier and more solid, like it was built to last a very long time. The cord is so short that I couldn’t even turn my chair to face the TV without unplugging it. I had to sit in one position the whole time just to stay close enough to the outlet. What I like about this oneFast heatingDigital controls and timerWorks well for feetWhat I like better about my old oneHeavier buildDeeper tubUses less waxLess greasy finishLonger power cordThis machine does its job and gives a good paraffin treatment. I just personally prefer the heavier, deeper style of my old one. If you like modern controls and quick heat up, this one will probably make you happy.
