I love how lightweight yet moisturizing this is….
With all the layering of products these days it’s nice to have a lightweight, thinner, but highly effective daytime moisturizer. I have extremely sensitive skin; this product is unscented and did not cause any breakouts for me. While it is on the runny side, I find it dispenses much like a slightly thicker milky toner/moisturizer, which I believe is exactly what it’s intended to be. Other reviewers didn’t like the hole-top dispenser, but if you treat it like a milky toner and sprinkle it into the cupped palm of your hand it dispenses just fine and the top is an inverse conical shape leading to the hole opening so whatever is left on the top goes back into the bottle via gravity. I decided to try this product because I follow the creator on YouTube (a licensed dermatologist with stunning skin!) and really love her unbiased reviews, tips and pointers on a vast array of skincare products. Even though she has her own product line (Prequel) she unbiasedly reviews many beauty products, a few of which I use that are not her brand. This has no scent and I think is a good value for the money, you don’t need much, a little goes a long way and the bottle is a decent size. My 60 year old skin is soft, moisturized and glowing after I apply this “half and half” and stays moisturized all day. I plan to continue using this in place of my previous daytime moisturizer as it allows me to skip the toner–I get two products for the price of one, a win-win in my book.

Smooth and good quality product
This makes my make up look amazing. With this my make up look smooth, skin is hydrated and compatible with my other make up products. I even got my sister to try it and she loves it. Good quality product with the benefit of skin care. It’s super easy to apply and melts into my skin. It works, you must try this product!!!

Plays well with others
I’ve tried some prequel products I’ve loved and hated, but this is by far the best product they’ve produced so far. My morning skincare routine consists of toner, vitamin C, a firming serum, moisturizer, and SPF. During the summer, this was the only moisturizer I used, and it proved to be the perfect choice for the season. Now that the weather has changed and I’m traveling a lot, I’m experiencing a lot of dryness. This has become my pre-moisturizer when I’m experiencing extreme dryness, followed by another moisturizer. It’s lightweight, and my skin feels and looks hydrated. At night, I use more intense moisturizers (I’m very dry and use some crazy actives), but this is the perfect daytime moisturizer. The prequel half-and-half plays well with other products (skincare and makeup), it is easy to use, has a reasonable price point (especially when it goes on sale), and produces excellent results!

For dry skin
I have very dry skin, especially during the winter months, and this moisturizer has been amazing. The Prequel Skin Half and Half Fluid Moisturizer is lightweight but incredibly hydrating. It absorbs well without feeling greasy and leaves my skin feeling soft, plump, and comfortable all day. My face feels nourished and calm, even on colder, drier days. I also love that it works well for sensitive skin. This has quickly become a staple in my skincare routine, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone dealing with dry or dehydrated skin.

For the Oily Girlies!
I have oily combo skin and moisturizers can be way to heavy. If I use to much I start to break out. For that reason I never used moisturizer in the morning, only at night time. This however was recommended by someone with the same skin type as me and it looked so nice and light I decided to try it. I’m really glad I did! What a lux feeling product with such beautiful ingredients! My skin absolutely loves it as part of my morning routine and no break outs at all. It has a liquid and light texture, feels very softening on the skin. Is very nice under sunscreen. It says fragrance free and I will say yes to that even though I thought I smelled a very faint, light scent when I opened it but maybe it was something on my hands cause I don’t really smell it now. This is just a really great moisturizer and I will absolutely be repurchasing!

Bottle sucks, the moisturizer is good
I like it, but I don’t get why it doesn’t have a pump (like Gleanser’s). Super inconvenient to get the product out of the bottle. The amount I get is inconsistent every time. Can’t see through the bottle how much left. I really hope the company will improve those things.Cons: lightweight, yet moisturizing. Has peptides, ceramides, and amino acids. Good for skin barrier AND anti-aging.

I am truly impressed
This is a truly great light moisturizer/Peptide Ceramide serum. Paulas Choice would sell it for $60.00 an ounce, it’s that good. it is a fluid, but not watery like a toner, it’s not oily. It works well over and under other serums and retinols, and under sunscreen and makeup (zero pilling), absorbs quickly, and is very soothing. it’s lovely around the eyes too.In the summer this was all the Moisturizer I needed, in the winter I mix in a drop or two of plum oil.
