Gentle BHA AHA cleanser, odd smell
I like this cleanser okay, it is gentle on the skin, with some BHA and AHA so it’s also mildly exfoliating. It does not strip my skin of moisture, and my skin still feels clean afterward. There are a lot of botanical extracts in the ingredients list, but I don’t see the benefit of having all those extracts when they are in a cleanser since you just wash them away immediately. I can’t say I love the smell, I thought it would smell more citrusy but it has an odd herbal smell. The bottle is glass, which is nice but unnecessary. I will definitely use the rest of this bottle, but I probably will not be ordering it again as there really isn’t anything special about it that would justify the higher than usual price point for a cleanser other than it being in a nice glass bottle.

Removes Makeup Well!
My other Provence Beauty items are good but not great, but this daily cleanser is definitely my favorite out of all of them. It has the most mild herbal scent that just gives a ‘clean’ smell; perfect for anyone who doesn’t like fragrances. And it does a great job of getting my makeup off on the shower at the end of the day. I just need a small pump and it suds up pretty well. It is on the pricier end, but also comes in a lovely glass bottle which looks nice if you have your cleanser sitting out on the counter.

Great Cleanser, but the Scent is a Bit Odd
This is a really solid daily cleanser. The first thing I noticed was the glass bottle, which feels high-quality and a lot nicer than the usual plastic. The gel itself is a pale pink color and has a unique scent that’s hard to place. I wouldn’t call it fruity or floral; it’s got a sharp, slightly peppery or earthy smell, which wasn’t my favorite, but thankfully it’s not overpowering.The cleanser creates a light, soft lather, and a little goes a long way. It does a great job of gently and effectively cleaning my face without leaving it feeling dry or tight. My skin felt noticeably softer and refreshed after using it for several days.It’s gentle enough that I didn’t experience any irritation or stinging. The product rinses off easily and leaves no residue. Just be careful of the glass bottle if you plan to keep it in the shower.

luxe bottle and font choice but I didn’t love the actual cleanser
I was really impressed at how high end this cleanser bottle was. The thick glass, the modern font and the pretty pink cleanser inside all pointed to a luxe face washing experience. Despite the pump top coming cracked off, I was able to push it down and make it work. The acutal cleanser itself is just ok. I can’t say it was great because I just felt like it didn’t really address the naturally ocurring oils on my face. My face seemed to be less oily but I felt like I still needed to wash my face again.

pleasant scent and non-drying
This daily cleanser does a good job of cleaning my face without drying it out. The cleanser has a light, pleasant orange blossom scent. With damp hands, a single pump delivers enough product to create a moderate lather. I haven’t experienced any sensitivity due to the AHAs, but my skin is pretty resilient. With warm water, the product rinses easily and leaves my face feeling moisturized.

Provence Beauty Pink Gelee Clarifying Daily Cleanser can help you thoroughly cleanse your skin while feeling gentle and comfortable in the process. The glass bottle holds 5.5 fluid ounces of pale pink tinted gel cleanser. I learned that a little product goes a long way so this bottle will last longer for me than I had originally thought. When the product comes in contact with damp skin, it creates a light lather on my skin. It was definitely not the bubble party that I am used to seeing from a facial wash. The one surprising detail of the cleanser is in regards to its scent. Despite including orange flower water, apple fruit extract, watermelon fruit extract, apricot fruit extract, and plum fruit extract, the only scent that was most prominent and distinct was pine bark extract. Thankfully it was not a heavy or overwhelming scent. It thoroughly cleansed my skin in a gentle manner that felt comfortable and not harsh. I was able to remove the light makeup that I wear daily and the dirt and grime of the day easily. It rinsed off effortlessly leaving no residue feeling behind. I did not notice the pine bark scent once my skin was towel dry. What I did notice was how soft my skin felt after the first wash. After several days of use, my skin feels noticeably softer to the touch while looking refreshed and revitalized overall. The manufacturer stated that the product contains an alpha hydroxy (AHA) that may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun. Use an SPF when using this product. As someone who does not spend a lot of time outdoors, this is not a major concern for me. However, if you do spend a lot of time outdoors, please note this prior to purchasing this product and remember that you will need to remember to apply sunscreen. It is Made in the USA. Overall, the cleanser performed as advertised and made a noticeable improvement to my skin.

Doesn’t break me out
I have very oily acne prone skin for a 45yo. I’ve been using this daily for about two weeks and have not experienced any breakouts. I only need one or two pumps from the Glass bottle to wash my face thoroughly. It smells like neroli (orange blossom flower) when it comes out the bottle but as I work it into a lather on my face it sorta changes and smells kinda bitter. It seems effective at removing sunscreen and doesn’t seem to strip my face of moisture in the process. It lathers, but not excessively. Decent daily wash.
