Great soft scrunchie but not as jumbo as expected
I’ve been on the search for a fashionable/fun hair scrunchie that looks intentional rather than like I just woke up and threw it in. Also, I baby my hair so I avoid plain elastics.The image I included shows 3 scrunchies. The black one in the middle is this item. I was expecting it to be bigger as it is called “jumbo”. It is nowhere near the size of another brand I purchased (Kristin Ess). That said it is larger and the elastic is less stiff than the silk one I also purchased on Amazon (MTSNOO brand).This black scrunchie is very soft to the touch, and while it is not silk, I feel like it is protecting my hair from damage. It is big enough to wrap my fine hair twice, (image here) and could go three times around if I wanted to.The elastic inside has some give, it isn’t stiff. I think for those like me who don’t have a lot of hair it works great, and looks bigger in the hair -for those with thick hair, it may not be as “fluffy” because it will stretch out the fabric more around the hair.Overall this is not as “jumbo” as in would have liked but it is extremely comfortable and well made. I would recommend.

Lovely Scunci
I bought a few of the jumbo size at a store ages ago, and loved them for my really thick, curly, long hair. I cut my hair short for a couple years, so gave them all away to my mom and sister. I am currently 1 year into growing out a start over buzz cut and my hair is just getting long enough to tie back finally! To celebrate I got myself this lovely Scunci- it’s perfectly sized (for my shoulder length hair, but may be a bit small if you have super, super long hair), a pretty silky and shiny black fabric that feels nice, and has a good amount of stretch to the elastic. It doesn’t feel like it’s going to break when I put all of my heavy hair up. Very happy with this purchase and will be looking to buy more in other colors and styles.

The ONLY rubber band I’ll use
I suffer with severe migraines and a very sensitive scalp, but I also have long and thick hair. This is the only scrunchie I will use as a matter of fact it’s the only one I’ve been using for about three years now and I continuously repurchase it because they do get stretched out. I would say a rubber band used daily for me probably last about four months. So I usually buy two or three at a time so that way I always have a back up and then just work my way through them.

I was looking for a big scrunchie and this one is great. I have very thinck curly hair and it has a great elastic. I cam back on this pasge to buy a second one for when I do 2 buns and a third one for my little sister who also always wears a bun. I can’t comment on durability yet. I wish they made other colors. and the price is still on the high side… lucky there is not much other choices…
