An Eyeliner That Acts Like a Gel, Not Chalk
This eyeliner is exactly what I’ve been missing. It truly glides on…no tugging, no skipping, no fighting with a dry pencil that gives up halfway through your lash line. The texture feels more like a beautiful gel in pencil form, and the color payoff is rich and deep from the first swipe. The shade Rockstar is a gorgeous dark purple that adds depth without looking harsh, and it applies smoothly and evenly every time. If you’re tired of eyeliners that dry out, drag, or crumble, this one is such a relief to use. Once it sets, it stays put. You have just enough time to smudge if you want a softer look, but after that it locks in and lasts all day without transferring or fading. It’s comfortable to wear and doesn’t feel dry on the lash line, which I really appreciate.It’s creamy, intensely pigmented, and easy to apply — a perfect option if you want long-wearing color without the chalky struggle.

Worth every penny for that color pop
This is hands down my favorite eyeliner pencil brand. It really lives up to the name because it glides on so smoothly without any tugging, and the color deposit is just amazing. I picked up the metallic green shade, and it looks absolutely stunning against my light brown and gold eyes, it really makes the color pop!It is incredibly long-lasting and stays put the whole day, so I never have to worry about touch-ups. I know it is a little on the pricier side compared to drugstore brands, but the quality is definitely there. It feels so luxurious and is well worth the splurge for how beautiful it looks.

Makes waterline eyeliner incredibly easy
I’ve never had an eyeliner that made applying to my waterline this easy. It glides on smoothly with no pulling, and the color goes on dark and even right away.It lasts a long time, doesn’t smudge easily, and really helps elevate my makeup overall. Super easy to work with and very high quality.

I’ve been using this pencil for years (“Perversion Black.”) Goes on smoothly, color is truly black. My only complaints are that the pencil wears down quickly and needs to be sharpened after every use. They can be a pain in the neck to sharpen. I do not recommend the Urban Decay sharpener-ELF sharpener works much better and is much less expensive.

Love this pencil, worth the price for smooth texture that’s easy to apply and forgiving
Definitely really like this eyeliner pencil. I generally struggle with a lot of eyeliner pencils, but this applies easily with smooth lines and it’s pretty forgiving. I’ve done wing tips and light outlines so much easier, and have also tried applying it thicker with primer as a base layer before adding eye shadow, it really came out well. Also sharpened very easily with Revlon’s sharpener, I had no problem getting a fine tip that applied just as easily as the first time. Even when I’ve made slight mistakes I felt it was very easy to quickly correct, the smoothness of the material transfers very easy to water line. Whiskey (brown matte) was the perfect shade for me. The pencil was a bit pricey, but the quality is so much higher that cheaper ones I’ve bought, definitely will buy again.

Smooth and creamy, but not worth the $
I am usually one of urban decay’s biggest fans and I was even a fan of this liner, but the cons quickly outweighed the pros. In the hopes I can help others, here is my list of pros and cons:PROS: very smooth and easy to apply. I especially like how well it worked along my top waterline. Just one, or two for good measure, sweeps across my waterline and it was perfectly coated. It did just as well on my bottom waterline, but more on that later. The color is a beautiful and dark black, and does stand out.CONS: cost. Even with the color and texture, I can’t say it is worth paying that much. I confess, I actually have paid this price… multiple times, but I don’t really know why. Once I got over the smooth application, I never was overly impressed with it. At first, it looks GREAT! But almost immediately, the bottom waterline starts to wash away while other parts stick around, and after a few hours —unless you have barely moved, released a bead of sweat, never accidentally touched your eye, or your eyes never even thought about watering— you will slowly get the raccoon eyes. I will say, with the right setting spray and being consciously cautious about touching or smearing my makeup, it occasionally would hold up fairly well, but I never mastered how to get that result every time. With such inconsistency, I could just as easily pay a few bucks on Nyx or something and get a similar result.

Easy but bold application due to softness, lasting power top
These have been my favorite for a long time because they truly last all day.With the current two that I recently ordered, I’ve noticed that the formula might have changed because they are extremely soft now (I know the „glide-on“ – formula might suggest that but I feel like they weren’t as soft before as now) which is great for smudging but requires very frequent resharpening. I can’t do my precise wing anymore how I used to do because the application is too broad due to the very soft formula. With an angled eyeliner brush the application works a lot better.
