A Winter Miracle 4 Dry Skin (from Face 2 Feet)
I power through California summers, by focusing on the upcoming winter, and how much I’ll appreciate every rainy day, the scent of petrichor, every cozy night in, the absence of mosquitoes, and being forced to wear clothes so drenched in sweat, you could literally wring them out at the end of the day… 🥵The only thing I DON’T appreciate is how itchy, flakey and dry my skin is throughout my favorite season. Combined with battling cystic pimples every month with AHA’s, BHA’s, Tretinoin, my skin is practically snowing! 😩ENTER WELEDA SKIN FOOD; a MIRACLE for dry, itchy, flaky skin. Why trust my review? Well, I’ve tried a lot of heavy thick creams in attempt to quench my extremely parched skin; CeraVe w/ Hyaluronic Acid, Nivea, First Aid Ultra Repair, even La Mer — none were nearly as effective or worked half as long as WELEDA SKIN FOOD. But my skin isn’t just dry, it’s also sensitive, prone to blackheads, cystic pimples, dark spots, and at 39, (going on 25 😉), it also struggles to turn over on its own, which easily leads to congestion, especially on my face. To prevent pimples that will inevitably leave scars and dark spots, I have to continue using Tretinoin and other chemical exfoliants during the wintertime, and trust me —IT SHEDS to an unsightly and embarrassing degree, but I’ve found a significant amount of relief from WELEDA.It not only keeps my skin hydrated for several hours, but it significantly minimizes the appearance of flaking skin and leaves it glowing and dewy without clogging my pores.But, I believe this product could be better if there was an “unscented” option. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a terrible scent; it’s a bit minty and sweet, and it does go away after you apply it, but some people, like myself are sensitive to secrets, and there’s NO reason why any skincare product should have scents added to them. That’s my only complaint/suggestion.Other than that this cream is perfect and like many reviews say, it works perfectly as a makeup primer. It IS thick, and it can sometimes be hard to spread around, but I find that I’d you apply it over a serum, it’ll spread quite smoothly over the skin.(This review is 100% honest and incentive-free)

The best skin moisturizer that gives you a glow!
I have used Weleda Skin Food for at least 10 years. It took me a bit to get used to the thickness, however it really works because it is so moisturizing. I am confident that Weleda products are quality and use many products daily. I enjoy the smell and my dermatologist gave me a glowing checkup because my skin was actually moisturized!! I appreciate the size and three of them so I can make sure I do not run out.

Product good, metal packaging horrible
Love the product and have been using it for years. The new metal packaging makes it difficult to get all of the lotion out which is why it isn’t 5 stars.A little goes a long way, it has a nice citrus smell, and I stay moisturized for a full day after one application and that’s living in the dry desert.

A rich cream miracle for dry skin
If you have very dry skin, this stuff is a wonder. It’s rich and emollient, and while my skin soaks it up like a sponge, it may be “too much” for skin that is not mature. It also has a lovely, fresh scent. I do miss the previous packaging — I’m not a big fan of the new metal tube, but maybe I’ll come to like it, especially if I can roll it up to squeeze out more product at the end.

SUPERB!
Absolutely LOVE this cream! It has a light natural lavender scent and is very rich! I have extremely sensitive skin and have tried all sorts of products. Some of them sting even though they’re marketed as suitable for sensitive skin. When I found this I was amazed! It goes on heavily but sinks in and never stings – quite the opposite. It’s great for my arms and legs – sinks in but also leaves a protective layer & glow. It protects my skin superbly. I even use it on my face which is the most sensitive place; however you might not like the shine it causes. It is also comedogenic if used on your face. I honestly don’t care about that because the protection I feel far outweighs that downside. It’s not meant for your face anyway, so that’d probably be a non-issue for you!

Thick and hydrating
This cream is thick, but so hydrating. Too heavy for daily use, but I use it nightly before going to bed. If you put a small amount on your hand, then rub your hands together until the lotion is warmed, it is easier to apply to your fave. I’ve bought this multiple times.

Chegou rápido, embalagem boa, da Amazon. Eu uso este creme da WELEDA há duas décadas, e todos comentam sobre a boa aparência de minha pele. A WELEDA é uma marca alemã antiga, cuja matéria prima é produzida segundo princípios antroposóficos, ou seja, os cremes de origem 100% vegetais são produzidas a partir de plantas sadias, orgânicas, em cultivos com outros segredos, que vale a pena conhecer (ver na página da WEB). Tudo que passamos na pele, ela absorve e joga na corrente sanguínea, eu não uso cremes que contenham petrolatos por este motivo. Recomendo este produto.

Very emollient and excellent for dry skin, I use it on my face on top of serums. Strong green & floral scent but pleasant, dissipates after application, which I don’t mind at all. Good value for money!

Weleda Skin Food ist kult. Ich bin verliebt in die Inhaltsstoffe und vor allem in die Wirkung. Nach vielen Jahren bin ich wieder zu ihr zurückgekehrt und glücklicherweise ist sie so gut wie ich sie in Erinnerung hatte, wenn nicht besser.Ich verwende sie als Nachtpflege für das Gesicht und nur selten am Tag, da sie extrem reichhaltig ist. Meine Haut fühlt sich fester, geschützt und zutiefst gepflegt an. Obwohl ich nicht zu Trockenheit neige, zieht sie problemlos ein und verursacht keine Unreinheiten.Allerdings: Es handelt sich um eine “vollgepackte”, dichte Creme mit Lanolin (Wollwachs), Bienenwachs und Mandelöl, und ist daher SEHR dick. Nicht jede Gesichtshaut wird mit ihr klarkommen. Ich denke, dass es massiv hilft, wenn man seine Haut vor dem Auftragen entsprechend vorbereitet, nämlich:1) gründliche Reinigung mit einem Waschprodukt seiner Wahl + warmem Wasser2) leichte(r) Toner als Grundlage und eventuell Seren3) etwas Wartezeit bis diese einziehen4) dann die Skin Food Creme mit den Fingern erwärmen, bevor sie in die Haut einmassiert und eingeklopft wird.Es muss auch erwähnt werden, dass sie relativ stark parfürmiert ist. Ich finde den charakteristischen Duft toll und passend, aber reagiere auch nicht empfindlich auf Duftstoffe, also lieber aufpassen und vorher testen.
