Nair who? Flamingo is where it’s at.
Flamingo is my GO-TO for hair removal. I used to wax my upper lip but i realized i had extremely sensitive skin so naturally, i started using Nair. now Nair, once it’s opened, it seems to start losing its quality of hair removing power. it’s not something i use every day so after a month i would try using it and it’s not working as good as it first did.when i discovered flamingo, i did not look back. it’s great for my sensitive skin, and it WORKS no matter how long it’s opened. it comes with the cooling gel that is nice but not really necessary lol.i’ve tried the body stuff and i haven’t been able to figure it out with how long my hair has to be / how much time it has to be on.i know the face stuff works GREAT and it’s a quick 10 minutes and all the hair comes off. you don’t have to lay it on crazy thick either. great product.

Burned my skin. Also does NOT work on the dark PCOS hairs as seen on tik tok!
I don’t recommend. I had seen sponsored reviews on tik tok saying it worked well for dark PCOS hairs, WRONG!!! I have probably the least sensitive skin ever. I am a nurse and have been exposed to a lot of chemicals, fluids, and cleaners, and also have been able to use any types of soaps or other hair removal methods in the past with no concerns. I used this initially on my neck area where I grow a few dark thick PCOS hairs. The peachy fuzz hairs came right off, but the dark hairs didn’t budge at all. Used it last about 1 week ago on the neck area and had no skin reaction.Last night I decided to use it on my chin/cheek area to get rid of some peach fuzz. TOTAL REGRET. 5 mins after application I wiped off the cream, my skin started burning! So once rinsed off well I immediately put the calming cream in and had to fan off the area due to the burning. I then went and put on some regular aloe from my refrigerator, same response just burning. It has been about 10 hours since the application and my skin is still on fire. When used on my neck it did not burn, but my face is a whole different story. Don’t risk it!! The pain is not worth it! And also the redness/swelling of my chin is very irritating as well. Unfortunately a waste of money.

Gentle Enough for V. Sensitive Skin but Effective
I used to use Nair for Face, but then I had a bad reaction to it that caused dermatitis, and I can no longer use that product. I’ve tried dermaplane tools that were too sharp, shavers that are not very effective, and other topical creams that were too strong. I decided to try Flamingo, and I was able to use it without any issues! It’s not as strong as nair, so the thicker hairs near my forehead still have to be gone over with a shaver, but it does great with peach fuzz. I can leave it on for the 5 full mins, and the calming serum is a great addition to offer with it.

Does not keep hair from growing back for more than a day.
This product does remove facial hair, but not to the root. After usage, the next day stubble appears much like shaving! Plucking keeps stubble from appearing longer than this product. Wish it worked as stated.

If you have sensitive skin, don’t buy
I bought this product because I was sick of dermaplaning my face every week. My hair grows fast and is darker and thicker on my upper lip and eyebrow area. I do have sensitive skin but thought I could try this product on my face, as there is a calming aloe gel to put on after. I used to use nair on my legs in my teenage years and never had any reaction. This was my first time trying it. I washed my face before applying – as it says to have a clean face before using. I left it on for 5 min – like the directions also say. As I was washing it off, I felt it burning a little. I knew it would be red because like I said, I do have sensitive skin. But the burning sensation didn’t stop. I applied the calming aloe gel on after I washed off the hair remover. It didn’t help. I hopped in the shower and let cold water run on my face to cool it down. I then applied more of the calming gel on. My face has been red and hot for hours now. Good thing I didn’t have anything planned tonight. Also, it didn’t even get my hair above my lip or eyebrow area. Will not be using this product again, I’m not mad but I wanted other girls to know that if you have sensitive skin, don’t get it.

I was skeptical but great product!!!
Long time user of a similar product. It worked ok but did leave red burn marks but easily accessible so I didn’t put much effort into finding something else. Seems like more growth issues lately and I felt I had to try another product. Read reviews etc and decided to try this. Just did it. Left on first time for 9 minutes, although I recommend testing and shorter periods, I had no issues. No red burn spots like the other use to give me. The calming serum is nice. I highly recommend giving this one a try! The picture is right after doing it. Love this!

Waste of product
I saw this product on Instagram so I found it here. I always looked for something to assist with my facial hair issue. I’ve tried everything from Nair to Umberelle and now Flamingo. I made the purchase during prime in July. So I caught a bundle pack. 1st application with the first box nothing if minimal hair came off. So u waited, tries it a few days ago with the 2nd box which worked but I needed to leave the cream on for 20mins. With the excess amount of cream it recommends the product shouldn’t take that long to work. It’s a lite smell not to strong of the chemical used in Nair. So here’s how it turned out. If I had to I wouldn’t reorder. But give it a try you may have better results than me. Happy searching

Overall I enjoy this product and will be purchasing again. I have not used other types of hair removal creams, but I am quite satisfied. My only wish is that it came with more cooling gel, or that I had the ability to buy more cooling gel separately and in a large package. I will also note that even after leaving the cream on for 8 minutes, it does not get all of the hairs (maybe gets 80%). But I like that this product is not too harsh and is easy to apply
