HOW TO USE INTIMINA’S STERILIZING CUP?

Sterilizing Cup can always be by your side because it collapses to fit even the smallest bags and pockets.
Option 1: Handwash
Use this method when there is no tap water available. Bottled water will work, too. Place the menstrual cup in the sterilizing container and fill it up with clean water. Put the lid on and shake it up for a few seconds. Make sure to keep one finger on the lid. For maximum cleanliness, please use INTIMINA Accessory Cleaner.
Option 2: Microwave
Use this method at home for quick and easy cup sterilization. Place the menstrual cup in the cleaning container and fill it with clean water. Put the lid on, but don’t close it all the way to allow the steam to evaporate when water boils. Boil it in the microwave for 3-5 minutes. Use a medium power level. Let it cool before taking the menstrual cup out.

Good for Storage and Sanitizing
I’ve been using period cups for a couple of years now. There are two things that are super important when it comes to cups – storage and sanitization. This collapsable container is capable of both.The container comes in a box with a lot of information about how to use it. It arrives collapsed with the lid over it. You have to remove the lid and push it down inside the cup to make it expand and stand up. The silicone material is non-porous which makes it the perfect vessel for sterilizing your cup. You can pop it in the microwave with water or you can use a solution to clean and lift the stains on your cup.It’s best used for a cup and not a disc. The shape is exactly right for a cup – wider at the top and more narrow at the bottom. I appreciate the fact it’s collapsable because it doesn’t take up very much space when you’re not using it. However, it’s pretty challenging to collapse it back down after you’ve used it. On top of that, the lid doesn’t stay on nearly as well as other containers I’ve used that are similar to this one. That means I feel confident leaving my cup to soak on my bathroom counter, but I don’t feel comfortable putting my cup in this and tossing it in my purse. The lid doesn’t securely close enough for me to feel confident it wouldn’t open up in my purse.The price is fair, the materials are good, and it solves a common issue you face when you’re a cup user. I just wish the lid fit more securely so I could use it more when I’m on the go.

Travel cup menstrual cup sterilization
I can’t believe I am finally getting around to purchasing one of these. It is definitely a good idea to have a travel cup sanitizer on hand in case you have some last-minute plans. The cup collapses down to store flat with the lid on on top of it, then you can expand it back up.I tested this out with my intimina brand cup and it fits of course. Then, I tested it out with a few other brands that I have and it was compatible with them as well. I tested a variety of menstrual cups as well disc types and they all fit without issue.I suppose you could also use this at home, but I will keep it used primarily for travel, or on the go in my bag. Hope this is helpful for you!

I like that this is very portable and easy. I think the most efficient way to use it is to prepare it in the bathroom prior to going into the stall, do your stuff, and then exit the stall to clean the container and collapse back into being portable again. I don’t think I would necessarily trust keeping a cup in the sterilizer while on the go because I fear leakage. Since there is a lid you can shake it around in the stall to help clean things. The container did come with cleaning solution, which is nice. However, it is not enough for repeated usage, so you would need to get more for that. In general, I think this is a really good product if you want to be more cognizant of your carbon footprint and reduce single use waste from periods.

Easy to use
This is super easy to use and easy to clean as well. I drop a few drops of cup wash and then throw my cup in and add water until it’s about 3/4 full. Shake and rinse.I’m not sure how strong it is as when I go to fold it up, the bright pink silicone turns white at the creases, but it seems plenty sturdy when it’s expanded. The lid does fit tight-ish, but doesn’t seal completely, so if you’re shaking it like a martini mixer, you’re going to have some leaking water, but it’s minimal.When not in use, it folds up nice and small.Overall, I love it. It makes cleaning my cup easy and quick.

This storage cup is great for on the go! It allows you to store your clean or dirty cup in your purse or bag. It seems to be made of good materials and doesn’t have a strong plastic scent after taking it out of the packaging.
