My favorite mascara for multiple reasons
This has become my go-to mascara; I’m on my second tube now and I’m really happy with it. I love it for 4 reasons:1. The applicator:I wear mascara almost every day, but I have always hated applying it. But this applicator makes it much faster and easier and is by far the best I’ve ever used – I don’t understand why all applicator tips aren’t shaped like this. It follows the natural curve of the eye, going on without clumps and greatly reducing the amount of smudges left around my eyes that I have to clean up afterwards with makeup remover.2. The visual effect:It makes my eyelashes look the way I’ve always wished a mascara would make them look. They look thicker and a lot longer, forming a smooth arch with nice, tapered, clump-free tips. I’ve never worn false eyelashes so I can’t personally attest to whether this product lives up to its name, but I can say for sure that with this product my lashes look as good as they ever have.3. Length of wear:This mascara isn’t waterproof, but I haven’t had a problem with it smudging or wearing off, unless it’s exposed to serious amounts of water or tears. Last night I was cutting onions and when my eyes started watering and I wiped them with a tissue the mascara came off – but it ALL came off easily, without leaving any residue around my eyes like always happens with other mascara. It washes off completely with soap and water and also comes off easily with makeup remover wipes, and it doesn’t flake off at all during the day. Sometimes I even sleep in it, and without even reapplying it looks not as good but surprisingly decent the next day.4. It doesn’t irritate my eyes:I have pretty sensitive eyes and most mascaras will irritate them a little – just to the point where they’re a bit red and itchy for an hour or so after I wash my makeup off in the shower. That doesn’t happen with this product, for whatever reason. I would much prefer a natural, cruelty-free, and organic mascara, which are the standards I hold all my other makeup to. But every natural mascara I’ve tried is expensive and doesn’t even last through the day without smudging everywhere. So for now I’m satisfied with this mascara that at least doesn’t irritate my eyes.I’m not generally one to leave rave reviews of makeup, but I have to say I’m impressed by this product. The price, at least at the time of writing this review, is pretty unbeatable as well. I plan to use this stuff for the foreseeable future.

Best mascara for full coverage & neatly thick yet feathery lashes
Fabulous product. With so many mascara claiming to make your lashes thicker, longer, more this or that, it is very overwhelming to choose just one. I use at least 2 mascaras when putting my make up on for the day; a very thin wand for the bottom lashes & a thicker one for the top. I would give this product 5 stars if the end of the wand was a bit more tapered so the user could easily apply the product. That said, I’ve used this brand in the past & it worked quite well. The brush is very curved & holds quite a bit of mascara making a single application really all you need. Another coat may be added for a very thick lash look. Due to the curve of the wand, application is easy & even gets the baby lashes in the corners of my eyes on top. I do use it on my bottom lashes occasionally but I tend to over apply & the feathered, lightly applied look is lost & I jam the wand into the corners of my eye. Hence the skinny wand for the lower lashes. Hahaha! I have very sensitive skin & this product has never cause any irritation. It washes off very easily with soap/water yet it lasts & stays in place all day! YAY! The colors are true to their labels. If it says black, it is a rich, velvety black. If it’s brownish-black expect a hint of dark brown. This a very good mascara at a very reasonable price. I’ve used many mascaras over the years. Everything from that terrible pink & green tube of Cover Girl to Giorgio Armani & MAC & many, many other brands in between. At the price this mascara is listed, give it a try & see the hidden gem you’ve been missing!

This is it. This is the one you want. As someone who fosters a healthy obsession for makeup, I don’t say this lightly. So what makes this particular product so spectacular? So many reasons, but I am going to limit this review to my 3 favorite ones.1. This is the most recent obvious one, but the price point is clearly fantastic. Mascara is perhaps the most important product in my daily beauty routine, and over the years I have spent money on expensive brands like Dior and Benefit. But at upwards of $20 a bottle, I never felt like these products were paying off. This Maybelline formula is drugstore priced, but high-end quality. This means that you can afford to get a new bottle every month or two to keep your mascara look fresh without breaking the bank. The fact that this product is $6 is absolutely ridiculous- I wish I had been buying it years ago!!2. I love the application wand. It is curved at the end, which gives your lashes a lot of curve, ideal for people who like to skip the eyelash curler in the morning. The shape also makes it perfect for really getting into those small spaces and curves of your lash line that are sometimes missed with a straight wand.3. The formula is, in a word… DREAMY. It is black- the kind of true black that creates such drama and intensity in the lashes. It goes on easily- a few swipes of the wand and your lashes, like the name claims, WILL look almost like falsies. It costs the lashes without feeling thick or heavy, and it is shockingly hard to create clumps (with the amount of volume you get with this product, you would expect MUCH more clumping). I like to use the curved end of the wand to tease out the ends of my lashes to create a beautiful fringe look. The length is like nothing I have ever experienced with other mascara brands- when I use this, my eyelashes LITERALLY brush my browbone… It’s amazing.These are just a few reasons to buy this product, but from one makeup aficionado to the next, GET THIS MASCARA. Every SINGLE time I wear it, I get endless compliment on my eyelashes, and at least one person asks me what mascara I use. Every day. That is just the kind of product this is. So, do yourself a favor and buy this, you won’t regret it :)*in the picture, I am wearing no makeup other than this mascara. I did not use an eyelash curler and only did a light coat, and THAT is the result… It’s amazing <3

It’s really easy to clean off, and for a non-waterproof mascara, it stays on pretty good as long as you don’t over do it and it starts to flake then. Recommended!

Muito bom, deixa os cilios maravilhosos! Rende muito, único chato que vem mt produto no pincel, tem que tirar bem se não pelota tudo os cilios, isso faz com que renda muito, e ele tende. Só um pouco já é o sufiente pra deixar cilhuda

I’m in my 50s, used to have long thick lashes that have since become sparse. I’ve used different mascaras over the years, and Maybelline Falsies has always come through for me. It lengthens, thickens without clumps and stays on all day. No flaking or smudging. No irritation. It removes easily using facial cleanser or soap and water. Admittedly, the “new” spoon brush takes time getting used to, but once you have that mastered, you will have beautiful thick full lashes. My mother said it looked like I had false lashes 🙂 It’s well worth trying for the price if you’re looking for a great volumizing mascara.
